This exciting project was supported by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund of £247,500, to open up, catalogue, digitise and protect the important local, national and international archival and museum collections held by the partners. A further years funding to September 2008 has been granted to enable further cataloging.

The project was managed by the Executive and Steering Groups and Project Staff.
